VELLA POLA

(This is my mom's spl)
ingredients
1 st day
Pachari=1 1/2 cup
Cooked rice =1/2 cup
Uzhunnu parippu = 1 tbsp
...Sugar = 2 tbsp
Coconut water = 1 cup
Blend all together , add water if needed only,the batter must be thick and pour it in a clay pot or aluminium vessel
2 nd day
Pachari = 1 1/2 cup
Cooked rice = 1/2 cup
Blend it and mix with the above mix
3 rd day
Pachari = 2 cups
Cooked rice = 1 cup
Coconut water = 1 cup
Blend with enough salt and mix all together and when it rises , pour 2/3 rd of pola vessel and steam it
If u want to make it the next day also leave a little batter and and add some the nxt day to ferment.....
