MARBLE CAKE

All purpose flour - 2 1/4 cups
Baking pwd - 4 1/2 tsp
Eggs - 3
Pwdered sugar- 1 1/2 cups
Milk - 3/4 cup
Butter - 250 gm
Cocoa pwd - 2 tbsp
Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
Pink food color - a pinch

Beat sugar and butter using a beater
Add beaten eggs to this and beat again
Sift maida and baking pwd and add little by little to the butter sugar mix
Add a little milk to this
Finally add vanilla essence and combine well
Divide the mixture into 3 equal parts and dissolve cocoa pwd in a little milk and add to 1 part
Mix pink food color in little milk and add to another portion
Pour the 3 mixtures alternately into the prepared cake tin
Using a tooth pick line the cake in zigzag...
Bake it for 45 mins
