Tomato & Carrot Soup


Onion 1 small
jeera 1/2 tsp
tomato 3
Carrot 1
Capsicum 1 small
cream 1/4 c
maida 1 tbsp
milk 3/4 c
pepper pwdr &butter

In a pan melt 1 tbsp butter n add jeera ,when it splutter add onion,saute for a while n add all other vegies n cook covered till tomato is soft n mashy .Cool n blend till smooth paste.

In another pan melt 1 tbsp butter n add maida stir n add milk .whisk continously to avoid lumps .Now add pepper n salt ,ground paste & simmer for 10 mnts.Add cream,1/2 tsp of dried basil leaves & a pinch of sugar to balance the flavour .Serve hot
