Coin Paratha with Mayonaise Chicken


Recipe for MAYONAISE CHICKEN
Chicken - 1/2 kg (cut into small pieces)
Yogurt - 1/2 cup
Mayo - 1/4 cup
Ginger - 1 inch piece
Green chilly - 2
Curry leaves - 2 spring + 2 spring
Capsicum - 1 (chopped)
Onion - 1 chopped
Cilantra - 1/4 cup
Garlic - 5 cloves
Soya sauce - 1 tbsp
Tomato sauce - 2 tsp
Oil , salt

Grind ginger + chillies + Curry leaves + Cilantra + garlic into fine paste and mix in the yogurt and mayo with enough salt and chicken pieces and keep aside for 2 hours

Heat some oil in a pan and fry the chicken pieces covered with the marinated masala and set aside

In the same oil saute onion + capsicum + curry leavesand pour the remaing mix of the marination ,lower the flame and add the sauces and fried chicken pieces and mix well .....till done and serve hot....



Recipe for the paratha(Also Call it 7 layered paratha)
Wheat Flour - 2 cups (and more to dust while rolling)
Black pepper pwd /red chilly pwd -1 tsp
Oil - 1 tbsp (and more to drizzle on the paratha)
Salt - to taste

Combine flour +pepper pwd+salt+oil and knead well to form a soft with enough water
Let it rest for sometime and again punch the dough to make it soft and pliable
Divide the dough into equal lemon sized balls
Now roll it into a size of puri
Now with a knife cut it vertically into strips at distance of about one inch (or less) each.U will get 6-7 strips like dis, don't panic if you get only 5-6 strips.
Now dust some flour over it, and drizzle some oil also
Carefully take one strip, roll it, place the roll over second strip and roll it ,den on the third stip like dat till u finish all the strips
Finally u'll get a rolled, layered ball of dough.
Now dust ur rolling surface with some flour, and very lightly roll the layered ball into a thick paratha.dont apply pressure on it while rolling
Heat a tawa ,place a paratha ,drizzle some oil and cook both sides till done on low flame till tiny brown patches appear on both sides
Serve hot with ur curry or even plain yogurt
