Dahi Sev Puri

ingredients

Pani Puri – 1 packet
Potato – 1 medium (boiled, peeled and diced)
chick peas – 1/4 cup
Onion – 1/4 medium (finely chopped
Coriander leaves – (finely chopped)
Yogurt – 1/2 cup (well beaten)
Chaat Masala – to taste
Salt – to taste
Red Chili Powder – to taste
Tamarind Chutney – to taste
Sev – to sprinkle

1.Make a small hole on top of each of the pani puris and place them in a plate.
2.Stuff the puris with a little bit of the following: Potato,chick peas, Onion.
3.Spoon a little Tamarind into the puris.
4.Spoon a little Yogurt into the puris and then all around.
5.Sprinkle with Chaat Masala, Salt, Red Chili Powder and Coriander leaves.
6.Garnish by sprinkling Sev over the entire plate.
7.Add more Tamarind Chutney on top.
8.Serve immediately!

Tamarind Chutney

Tamarind pulp - 2tbsp
Water- 2 cups
Salt- 1 tsp
Jaggery-1/2 cup, powdered & packed
Red chilli powder-1 tsp
Cumin seeds-1 tsp
Fennel seeds-1 tsp
Heat two cup of water and add the tamarind paste to it. Mix well making sure there are no lumps in it.
Once it starts boiling, reduce the flame to medium and add the jaggery. Mix well and let it melt.
Let it boil till it reduces to half quantity.
Meanwhile, dry roast cumin seed and fennel seeds and powder them.
Once the chutney starts coating the back of a spoon, switch of the stove and add salt, red chilli poweder and powdered spices. Mix well
